Hi, I'm
Postponed due to COVID-19.
Investigating robust measures for detecting anomalous nights of sleep from sleep tracking data under Professor Jeff Huang. Check out our research on sleep behaviour changes during the COVID-19 pandemic here!
Currently working on various engineering projects.
Implemented a classification algorithm to categorize menu items in a taxonomy hierarchy. Developed a drink recommendation engine in Python using the Apriori algorithm.
Developed a prototype virtual teaching assistant in React to increase motivation and student retention. Built an instant question answering feature using the Wolfram Alpha API and used data-driven analysis to create 36 distinct automated pedagogical interventions.
Worked on the front end to update and implement new changes to Uplift’s websites using technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, Git. Assisted in documenting features and proposing additional updates for applications and projects.
Worked with Professor Brenda Rubenstein on research in quantum mechanics and quantum statistics. Studied superfluidity in quantum liquids and used Path Integral Monte Carlo molecular simulations to investigate if Hydrogen exhibits superfluidity.
Hold office hours to help students learn topics ranging from discrete mathematics and statistics to machine learning algorithms. Will be a teaching assistant for a graduate data science course in Fall 2019.
Take minutes of weekly meetings, plan events to promote inclusivity and diversity in mathematics, organize guest lectures and panels for undergraduate and graduate students in mathematics.
Mentor to first-year female students interested in studying the sciences at Brown. Connect individually with mentees to provide academic and social support and assistance.
